Who we are

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you type in. We use them only to read and reply to your enquiry.

Automatically, like any website, our host records technical information about requests, including your IP address, browser, and the pages you visited. This is used to keep the site running and to investigate faults.

We do not ask for payment details on this website, we have no accounts or logins, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Where your message goes

The contact form sends your message to us as an email. It is not saved to a database on this website. Your email address is used as the reply-to address so we can respond directly.

If an email fails to send, the message is written to our server logs so the enquiry is not lost and we can follow it up by hand.

Services we rely on

We use a small number of other companies to run this site. They only handle your information to provide their service to us.

• Vercel hosts the website and keeps server logs.
• Resend delivers the contact form email.
• Cloudflare provides the Turnstile anti-spam check on the contact form, which looks at signals from your browser to confirm you are not a bot.
• Google provides our email (Google Workspace) and the map on our contact page. When that map loads, Google receives your IP address and browser information, as it would on any site with an embedded Google map.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we run analytics to see which pages are useful, it loads only after you accept it on the banner shown on your first visit, and your choice is remembered in your browser. Declining does not affect anything else on the site. The anti-spam check may store a small amount of data in your browser in order to work.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails stay in our mailbox for as long as we may reasonably need them, for example to handle a follow-up question or a repair warranty. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host and then discarded.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your enquiry. Email [email protected] and we will deal with it. Since we only hold what you sent us, this is usually just a matter of deleting an email.

You do not have to use the contact form. You are welcome to call us or stop by the shop instead.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
